A singular trajectory for reinventing textiles
From its beginnings in a garage in Nevers, Losanje has gradually developed an expertise that is unique in Europe: producing upcycled products on an industrial scale, without sacrificing quality, creativity and impact. A look back at 5 years of transformation, audacity and commitment.
2020
The birth of a project in Nevers - The intuition of an alternative model
The LOSANJE project was born of a strong conviction: producing more and more new makes no sense.
With a stock of work pants and school sheets, as well as local know-how, the first prototypes were born in a garage, transformed into a committed sewing workshop.
The aim? To prove that it is possible to produce desirable clothing and accessories without new materials - and to open a breach in the highly standardized world of fashion.

2021
Proof by series - Making upcycling replicable
By 2021, Losanje had become the first brand to mass-produce upcycled products, available in a range of sizes and colors.
The pieces attracted the attention of WeDressFair, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, proof if any were needed that upcycling can compete with the aesthetic standards of the marketplace. Upcycling enters the fashion mainstream.

2022
Change of scale - From seam to system
Encouraged by recurring requests from brands and companies also wishing to explore upcycling, Losanje initiated a change of scale. The aim was to structure, automate and make the upcycling process more reliable, in order to meet growing demand.
LOSANJE went from being a brand-producer to the architect of a new textile system, focused on upcycling on a large scale.

2023
The industrial turnaround - When technology meets circularity
A fund-raising round of almost €3M enabled Losanje to invest heavily in R&D to develop its own industrial and intelligent tools dedicated to upcycling.
That same year, LOSANJE opened its first industrial workshop, a site that now enables it to process large volumes of finished products with precision, traceability and speed.

2024
A unique technology - Supporting the textile transition in all sectors
Losanje finalizes development of its automated cutting line for finished products. A world first!
Losanje is now fully capable of offering tailor-made textile upcycling solutions to a wide range of B2B customers: fashion brands, local authorities, retailers and manufacturers. All with a single promise: to do better with what already exists - at scale.

2025
The total democratization of upcycling
Losanje continues to democratize upcycling. It is rolling out new production projects with increasingly diversified players, and for ever new uses.
And in June 2025, Losanje won the prestigious ANDAM Innovation Award.
