Marlène Rougier turns dormant stock into an upcycled capsule collection

The challenge for responsible brands: going industrial without compromising values
Marlène Rougier, a committed designer brand, has been shaping responsible fashion from the outset, using recycled materials. Faced with growing demand, she wanted to produce in larger quantities, without denying her brand DNA. The challenge was to find a partner capable of transforming dormant stocks into desirable garments. To meet this challenge, it turned to Losanje and its design office, to guarantee local production that was both qualitative and in line with the requirements of sustainable fashion.
Transforming dormant fabrics into a mass-produced upcycled collection
Losanje supported Marlène Rougier at every stage of product development, from design to manufacture. The pieces were carefully designed with eco-design and recycling in mind. This collection meets the expectations of a demanding clientele aware of the challenges of circular fashion.

Available for pre-order on Marlène Rougier's website, 1,000 high-end pieces were made from the ends of rolls from luxury houses, repurposed into pants, shorts and overalls. A collection that resulted in theoretical savings of over 4,000 kg of CO₂ and 520,000 liters of water compared to conventional production methods. By choosing circularié, a fashion brand can create quality garments, while limiting the environmental impact of the textile industry.
