Ancor Garments transforms second-hand t-shirts into a new upcycled collection

Produce the first eco-responsible collection in series
From the outset, Ancor Garments had a clear direction: to limit its impact as much as possible, using upcycling as the basis for its creations. The brand needed a French textile workshop capable of nimbly accompanying it through the production stages, with a technical and industrialized approach. The challenge: to produce a collection of upcycled garments from recycled textile materials.
Designing an upcycled capsule: from idea to industrial production
Losanje's know-how was involved at every stage of the product creation chain: design, prototyping, cutting and final assembly. The second-hand T-shirts collected by Ancor were sorted and transformed according to a rigorous process to optimize the raw material available. The project also enabled the brand to keep production costs under control, thanks to an industrial model.

Textile production that is circular, local and economically competitive
Available for pre-order on the Ancor website, this collection is part of a flexible, well-thought-out business model, compatible with the challenges of circularity and rational inventory management. This project also illustrates the ongoing transformation of the fashion industry: more and more brands are now making upcycling their sole manufacturing model. Further proof that industrial upcycling enables responsible, controlled textile production.
