The prestigious ANDAM Innovation Prize, launched in 2017 to support technological solutions that are transforming the fashion industry, was awarded to Losanje last May. A major recognition that propels industrial upcycling to the heart of the sector's transformation challenges.

New impetus for the circular textile industry

Established in 2017, the ANDAM (Association Nationale pour le Développement des Arts de la Mode) Innovation Award annually recognizes a company with a technology that has high transformative potential for the fashion industry. In 2025, Losanje was awarded this prize.

The key:

  • 100,000 endowment,
  • personalized mentoring with Yann Gozlan, President of Creative Valley,
  • privileged access to the ANDAM network and enhanced visibility with major players in the sector.
"On this occasion, Losanje would like to warmly thank the members of the jury, ANDAM's partners, and all the teams for their trust and commitment.
The team also congratulates all the 2025 winners for their ambitious initiatives in the face of industry challenges." - Simon Peyronnaud & Mathieu Khouri, co-founders of Losanje

A breakthrough technology: automated upcycling

Founded in Nevers in 2020 by Simon Peyronnaud and Mathieu Khouri, Losanje stands out for its ability to industrialize upcycling, thanks to a robotized line capable of cutting end-of-pipe textile products (garments, tarpaulins, household linen...) on a large scale.

This technology meets three major challenges:

  • Reduce environmental impact by recycling used, unsold or obsolete textiles
  • Optimize costs by automating key stages
  • Ensuring scalability with a plant in operation since 2023
"The pragmatism of our technology lies in its ability to be used today by brands, to produce high value-added parts that are both economically and ecologically perceived." - Mathieu Khouri, co-founder of Losanje

Strategic recognition for the upcycling industry

The awards ceremony, held on June 30 in the courtyard of the French Ministry of Culture, was attended by numerous players from the ecosystem: brands, manufacturers, start-ups, designers and institutions.

For Losanje, a pivotal moment, punctuated by promising encounters and inspiring exchanges.

"This is a founding moment for the entire upcycling industry, which we represent today, but which we hope will radiate far beyond. This award goes beyond Losanje: it's recognition of an entire booming textile circular economy." - Mathieu Khouri, co-founder of Losanje
"ANDAM is also a place for education. This award shows that upcycling is a solution for the future: innovative, industrial, and now recognized as such. 2025 will be the year of upcycling! - Simon Peyronnaud, co-founder of Losanje

A strong signal for the future of Losanje

This award comes shortly after Losanje raised €2 million in capital to accelerate its industrial roll-out. It confirms the company's pioneering position and opens up new prospects:

  • Forging new partnerships with players in the luxury and ready-to-wear sectors
  • Increasing production capacity and strengthening industrial facilities
  • Consolidating its role in the ecosystem of circular textile solutions

Industrial upcycling, at the heart of the next textile revolution

The ANDAM 2025 award represents a strategic turning point for Losanje and validates a strong conviction held since the beginning:

"We believe that upcycling is now where second-hand was ten years ago. Tomorrow, it will establish itself as an industry in its own right, complementing repair, reuse and recycling. We want to help give it its rightful place in the European textile industry." - Simon Peyronnaud, co-founder of Losanje

Thanks to this decisive support, Losanje aims to recycle between 500 and 800 tonnes of textile products a year, consolidating its leadership in industrial textile upcycling.
